Little House In The Big Woods by Laura Ingalls Wilder

This story is about a girl named Laura and her family. She had a Ma and a Pa an older

sister named Mary and a younger sister named Carrie and her good old bull dog Jack.

She lived in the big woods of Wisconsin. She tells the story about her adventures . My

favorite chapter is Dance at Grandpas. They go to Grandpas house and there is a big

big dance there. A lot of people come and Pa plays the fiddle. The men go out in to the

woods and collect maple syrup for the people to eat at the the dance.


Charlottes Web by E.B. White

This story is about a pig named Wilbur and a spitter named Charlotte. Wilbur wants

friend, and in the middle of the night Charlotte says I will be your friend, and they

become great great friends. Charlotte likes Wilbur and wants to save his live so he won't

get killed. So she rights a message on her web. The three words are some Pig, terrific,

and humble. Every body thought Wilbur was some Pig, terrific, and humble. Every body

from all over came to see the message. One day they thought  that they should enter

Wilbur in the best Pig contest. Wilbur wins a award. That day Charlotte makes an egg

sack with all of her eggs in it. Wilbur takes the egg sack home and cares for it then One

day it hatches and they all fly away to find homes ecsept 3 they stay in the barn and live

their happy lives.  


Frindle by Andrew Clements:

There is a boy named Nicolas and he is going into Fifth grade. The teacher in the 7th

Period is misses Granger. Every body is afraid of Miss Granger. Nicolas has a trick and

it has worked on all of his teachers it is called the time waster. 5 minutes before class is

over Nicolas asks a great question, so that there will be no time left for the home work

assignment.  But the key question is the most important, and Nicolas had the perfect

question.  It is, "where do all of the words in the Dictionary come from, like who makes

dog mean dog". Miss granger says, "You do Nicolas".  Later that day he had a great

idea. He would get the hole world saying his word Frindle meaning pen.  Well what do

you no, they had a fite Nicolas and mis granger. 10 years later the fight was over and

Frindle had won. But Nicolas finely found out miss Granger had been pushing it the hole

time.  She wanted the word to come alive.  She had wanted him to win the hole time.
