Logan Read the Tale of Despereaux

One of the books I read this summer was Tale of Despereaux by Kate DiCamillo.  It was about a mouse who fell in love with a human princess and saved her from rats and a half-deaf servant.  He has many tough journeys such as losing his tail reading (which is outlawed) and fighting a rat.  I loved how rats represented darkness and mice represented light.  It was almost as good as Cricket in Times Square.  My favorite character is Despereaux, a little mouse for a giant adventure.
