Lily’s crossing

I read Lily’s crossing. I liked the part where Lily met Albert.

She was shy the first time she met Albert. the night she met Albert was at the Orbans because Albert was staying with the Orbans. Margaret (Her best friend) had to leave and move to Wartime Factory Town. Lily is very sad when she finds out that Margaret has to move. Lily thinks how she will be all alone. But she becomes very happy when she meets Albert. When Margaret leaves she gives Lily her house key so Lily can go there when she wants to. Her dad tells her that he has to go to Wartime Factory Town to. Her dad has told her  grandmother before he told Lily. When Lily’s dad tells her that he told her grandmother be her she is very mad. So she go to margaret’s house. But when she is at Margaret’s house her dad leaves and Lily does not get to say goodbye.
