In the book Freckle Juice, Andrew wants to have freckles, but Sharon tells him that he needs to give fifty cents to her for the freckle juice recipe, but it didn't work. So he puts dots on his face. Then he went to class and everybody started laughing. Mrs. Kelly calls Andrew to come to her and gave him a secret recipe to take off the dots on his face. And then it worked!

Nicky hated his freckles. So he asks Mrs. Kelly for the secret recipe to remove his freckles too. Mrs. Kelly told "you look great with freckles so don't ruin it." Sharon told Nick that she han a secret recipe to remove the freckles but he needs fifty cents. she was just tricking him.

This book taught me that we have to be happy with the way we look and not wish to look like somebody else. And do not trust everybody.

I would give this book three stars out of five because it's "just okay." It is not as exciting as Because of Winn Dixie.
