Homework Begins

Yesterday the fourth graders excitedly turned the pages of their new assignment notebook (often referred to as the planner), and they labeled their new homework folder. We worked together to plan out the week's work, and made note of a few things to remember.

We are laying the groundwork for organization that will help them as they go on to the upper grades. Walk the halls while the middle schoolers pass from class to class, and you will see the students carrying their planner with them.

The assignment notebook is a great communication tool. You can use it to send notes to me, as I check them each day.

This week's homework:

Spelling pages 7-10

Math packet (4 pages)

Read 30 minutes each night

Spelling test Friday

Bring Farm Trip permission slip
