We are all grieving the loss of I
Math Day due to snow. But that will not deter us from declaring our everlasting love on Pi Day. On March 14 (get it? 3.14), we will celebrate all the good problem solving that students have done since the new year. We will make sure every class receives a new math book for its library. The winner of the cheese ball estimation game will also be announced. One middle school student estimated the precise number of cheese balls in a big (!) 20 ounce container. We will announce that student's name and award the prize on Pi Day.
