Learning the Best of Mathematics
through Playfulness and Discovery

On Thursday, March 13, Cindy Kuperus and Gary Lawrence will host Mustard Seed School's 2014 Conversation With Parents in Mathematics. We will have the help of several students between Grades 3 and 8. Parents will participate in examples of problem solving and game playing that are essential in achieving the most important goals in math education.
This conversation will touch on some of the practice standards that are part of the new Common Core State Standards. We will show how playfulness and discovery may be the most direct route to attaining these profound goals for our children.
