Candy, candy, candy everywhere

Candy is not allowed in school. This is a Nest to 8th grade rule and has been the rule for more than 30 years. No one may have candy of any kind at any time (not even at lunch). If we see it, we keep it.

Are there exceptions? Yes! For example on Person of the Week sharing day, the special student brings a treat to share and it may be candy. Sometimes, teachers even give candy to students. Sometimes, there are class or school events that call for candy. However, those are very few and far between, as well as in limited peanut-free quantities. More importantly these exceptions are decided by teacher planning.

Please help us, help the students abide by the school rules by not sending candy for snack, for lunch, or for the end of the day. Thanks!
