Mini Term Happenings

Today the Mini Term Electives started. Fourth and Fifth grade students chose from four activities--Spanish puppet show led by Senora Oro-Hahn, Christmas Orff music led by Mrs. Mauldin, paper making led by Ms. Buckley, and crochet led by Ms. Penfold. Students will meet in these groups three times a week for the entire mini term.

" A shoot shall come out from the stump of Jesse, and a branch shall grow out of his roots" Isaiah 11:1 The Advent Season, the time observed in commemoration of the coming of Christ in the world, began today with the telling of Jesse, his sons, and the anointing of David. Each day the stories about people in the lineage of Christ will be told during Worship. What a joyous time we have with special songs and skits led by teachers and students. Grades K-8 meet in the Community Room at 8:30. Join us!
