Who is your Hero?

My hero is my 13-year-old nephew who despite his home circumstances, excels in school, sports, and life.

"A hero is someone who lets you shine," said one student. "Someone who is there for you no matter what," said another. We decided that a hero isn't someone who wears a cape, or has superhuman strength, or even someone who can fly. Our heroes are our moms, dads, uncles, aunts, friends, and even a teacher.

On Thursday, March 3, at 6:30 in the 4th grade room, we will share our heroes, and enjoy a refreshments including hero sandwiches, as a part of our Hero Night. We hope you will join us, and share about your hero!
