Field Trip to Steven's Ocean tank on Friday

On Friday the 4th and 5th grade will visit the ocean tank at Stevens Institute of Technology. Professor Tom Herrington will show the students ocean currents, and explain the effects of pollution on the ocean. Professor Herrington also will tell the students how scientists followed the BP oil slick, and the equipment they used to do so. Professor Herrington is one of my science professors at Stevens, and also was consulted by President Obama during the BP oil crisis.
