Monday is our Apple Store Field Trip when we'll be traveling by the PATH train, and walking, to the Apple Store on 14th St. in Manhattan. Students need to bring a disposable snack and lunch as we will be enjoying both at the nearby HiLine Park. We leave school at 9:00, and will return before school is dismissed.
The students have decided to make Monday, jersey day. A tradition they started last year where they encourage everyone in class to wear a jersey from their favorite team, or a jersey they wore as a part of a team, on a certain day.
As a part of our Apple store experience, the students will receive a t-shirt, which they have voted to wear on Tuesday. Thomas added that he's hoping everyone wears jeans with their t-shirt. So Tuesday is Apple store t-shirt day!
