On Tuesday, November 16, at 7 p.m. three Mustard Seed School fourth graders nervously waited with 18 other fourth graders for their turn to walk up to the mic, and spell their first word. The other contestants were from Hoboken Catholic Academy, Hoboken Charter School, Wallace, Connors, Stevens, and Calabro. Julius admits it was nerve wracking to walk to that mic, and spell in front of an audience. In reality, Casey, Julius, and Emma did quite well in spite of their nervousness. Emma was the last MSS student to go down, placing 6th overall. We are so proud of them all!
