In this next week we have many opportunities for learning and service. Here are some dates/events to keep in mind and plan for.
Wednesday, January 15, 7 p.m.--Jazz Vespers at St. Paul Lutheran Evangelical Church (440 Hoboken Ave Jersey City, Choristers performing)
Thursday, January 16, 1 p.m.--Geography Bee in the Community Room
Friday, January 17, 2:30 p.m.--Martin Luther King Jr Celebration in the Community Room (Led by the 5th grade)
Monday, January 20, MLK Jr. Day-- No School BUT students in the 4/5 grades are participating the day of service with All Saints and Stevens Schools. This is not a "have to." Students wanting to participate, meet at Stacks Restaurant on Washington in Hoboken at 7:30 a.m.
Tuesday, January 21, 8:30 a.m.--Field trip to the Museum of the American Indian (with the 5th grade). It is vital that students arrive before 8:30, as we are leaving school promptly at 8:30. Students will be walking, so dress for the weather. Bring a disposable snack and lunch in a backpack.
