Please look for the PISA forms in this week's Que Pasa

PISA is the Partnership to Improve Student Achievement with Stevens Institute of Technology. They provide innovative science and engineering curricula for grades 3-5. Ms Buckley attended a week long course in the summer about the science of weather and will participate in two professional training days during the school year. This complements Mrs McCallihan's recent completion of her two year PISA course in science and engineering. We are excited for this input into our STEAM initiative for 4th and 5th Grade.

The students will be included in the data collected as a part of the grant supporting the program through pictures, written work, and science pre- and post-tests. A consent form to participate in the trial and an image release form will be in this week's Que Pasa. Please sign and return the image release form. Only sign and return the trial participation form if you do NOT want your child to participate.
