Auntie Joyce

Joyce Stoner has been hosting our students on her farm for well over twenty years.   That means that there are several hundred Mustard Seed alumni -- many now approaching thirty years of age, who remember "Auntie Joyce" and all the fun that was had on her farm.  As always, there is a scavenger hunt, hot dogs roasting over an open fire, toasted marshmallows, conversation, and more.  It is all a gift.  It is an annual gift from the generous heart of a woman who has cared for these children long before she ever met them.

This morning, students wondered if all the rest of the day could be forgotten, so they could hurry to Joyce's farm.  They finally arrived for lunch and are enjoying so many things - just like the hundreds of alumni who have been here before.
