Today in class we spoke about the Farm Trip for this year. This is a trip that the fourth and fifth grade students take together. There have been a few changes to the trip this year. First, we are now going to be enjoying the trip in Spring, April 6,7, and 8. During this time we will have the opportunity to observe and participate in farm life in a new way.
Also, we have found that three days and two nights away from home is difficult for our younger students. In an effort to help them be strong the entire trip, we are changing the schedule for the trip. The farm portion of the trip will be Wednesday and Thursday. The fourth grade students will return home Thursday evening, and will have no school on Friday. The Fifth grade students will then journey to Gettysburg on Friday.
Ms. Choi and I are very excited about the changes, and are really looking forward to sharing this time with our students and the chaperones.
