Fabulous Farm Trip!

So what went on during the 36 hours we were away from Hoboken? Here's a sampling:

The first day we traveled two and half hours in a bus, played on a merry-go-round, hiked more than a mile to a farm where we held a bunny and ducks, pet a goat, and learned about geese. We were tossed about on a hay ride. We ate dinner with a Mennonite family, and attended a church service where men and women sit on opposite sides of the church, and sing hymns acapella.

The second day we enjoyed a fantastic breakfast, toured an egg farm, and watched the egg packing production. We toured a dairy farm where we saw several stages of the life of a cow, some of the babies thought our hands tasted yummy. We saw how a milking machine works, and what milk looks like straight from the cow. Lastly we visited our new friend, Auntie Joyce, where we cooked hot dogs over a campfire, tested our treasure hunting skills, ran through a corn field, sung two songs, and made s'mores.

What an amazing trip!
