Mr Choi Quizzes us in Geography

Last Thursday fourth grade students spent 30 tense minutes answering round after round of challenging geography questions posed by Mr. Choi. Questions such as: "Which state is known as the Sooner state?" and "What is the loud noise that occurs when atmospheric gases are suddenly heated by a discharge of lightning?"

After seven rounds we had a clear first place finisher, Max, who is one of the very few students in the history of our school's geography bee qualifying rounds who answered all seven questions correctly. There was a need for a tie breaker for second place between Liam and Addie. Mr. Choi administered the tie breaking questions, and Addie became the second place finisher.
