Building Space Shuttles...with LEGOs

Della Markferding, who runs LEGO building classes, brought her LEGO kits, an assistant, and much enthusiasm as they guided the fourth grade through the building of a space shuttle using LEGOs.

Sometimes following the instructions is the hardest part!

But the hard work pays off!

Once the students finished building the shuttle, they added a piece that was motorized and made the shuttle move.
