Describing the Shape of Data

Our class started a new math unit about data called Describing the Shape of Data. During this unit, students collect and represent the data. Using words like clump, mean, median, range, mode, and outlier, students also describe and interpret the data. As a part of this unit, students will gather data from their class as well as one other class, and prepare a poster to share their findings.
