Last week students took home a farm trip packet. In this packet is a schedule, forms to be filled out and returned to school, and a packing list. Please make sure your child packs the items listed, and adheres to the items he/she cannot bring. All forms are due Monday, October 1.
Just a quick note about sleeping bags. If your child doesn't have a sleeping bag, please do not feel you have to go out and buy one. Students can bring bedding (blankets, a sheet) instead of a sleeping bag.
On the day we leave, we will be bringing our backpacks with us. I will be recommending to the students that they bring books, puzzle books, things for doodling or drawing, their farm trip guide, snack, lunch, and water bottle. The bus ride is only 90 minutes, but it's so much more fun when you have things to do.
Make sure that your child arrives by 8:10 on that day. We will be labeling items, and loading the bus as soon as it arrives. Students will be receiving any last minutes instructions, as well as readying for the trip.
While we are away on our trip, any communication from us will be delivered by email. It is important that you check your email for any updates, including what time you can pick up your child on Thursday, Oct. 4.
