We are BUSY this month! And we want to finish strong! Fourth graders are responsible for the Ascension celebration, and they will be reciting Bible verses as a part of this celebration. They have their assignments, and should be able to recite them without help by Monday. On the day of the Ascension, they need to wear any color blue or white on that day. The celebration is during the 11 a.m. Worship on Thursday, May 17.
"I will not play a tug'o'war, I'd rather play a hug'o'war...." This is one of my favorite Shel Silverstein poems. Your student has begun a research project on a poet of their choice. Students will write the poet's biography, share favorite poems written by their poet, and try their hand at writing a poem in the style of the poet. Sharing day is Wednesday, May 30.
We have two concerts this month. The Upper School Spring Concert is Tuesday, May 22. The next day we travel to Carnegie for our Link Up concert.
