We Celebrate Abby!

During our celebrations of Student of the Week, we often hear about the student's favorite things (for Abby the Yankees, a stuffed animal, a statue of birds, and a blanket), and we hear about their accomplishments (Abby shared about her swimming medals). And sometimes we hear about hard things. Previously, Luis told us about his dad's death. This week we heard about Abby's younger sister, Bethany, who died at birth. I cannot predict where our Student of the Week celebrations will go, but I do know we leave on those Fridays with a new appreciation for our friends, and we are drawn closer by the sharing of these things. Thanks Abby for sharing the good, the noteworthy, and the hard, sad things too!
